A “Mighty” Success!!!
The rave reviews began pouring in by Friday afternoon from the 2009 Conference attendees. The energy was incredible as everyone experienced connection, a sense of reunion, learning, support and sharing of each other's accomplishments while having lots of fun! Several connected to the song “Simply the Best” by Tina Turner as the 2006 QC1 class song, and this became the subtitle for this year’s Conference - Expanding Horizons - Simply the Best Conference! We are excited to share with you the results of the fundraising efforts to benefit the continued education of individuals committed to learning the skills of leadership, coaching and facilitating change. The Scholarship Committee hosted a 3-day raffle experience with a variety of prizes including one-on-one coaching sessions with several of our facilitators. Through their raffle, the Scholarship Committee raised $713! Additionally, the proceeds of the Conference Auction raised an additional $4,875 for a total of $5,588!! It was crystal clear that the Resource community is growing, larger and stronger than ever! Barbara’s opening and closing presentations provided the community the first look at the newly updated RR logo (as shown above), a recap of the incredible work Resource and the Resource community has created to date and the vision for where we are going – expanding the circle of resources committed to making a difference. It was a resounding “we are in” as Barbara shared from her cheerleading days our company cheer and mantra – “Everywhere we go, people want to know – who we are – so we tell them, WE ARE RESOURCE, MIGHTY, MIGHTY RESOURCE!” In the coming months, we look forward to some very exciting events, announcements and new opportunities to expand the impact of learning in the Resource arena! NLP - Come Alive in 2010 We often wonder what else might support the exponential growth of self and those we care for and love. Quantum Coaching is again underway! The 2009-2010 QC1 Class has completed Weekend 1 and the connections, excitement and learning are being experienced by all! Each year, our coaching community continues to grow and this year’s 35 student coaches are ready, open, excited, and moving full steam ahead!! And what is equally exciting is to have people already looking to enroll in the 2010-2011 Quantum Coaching 1 Training! Clearly, people are seeing the value in coaching; both as a resource for themselves, as a career change and in service to an inner calling – even a direct or indirect resource for their purpose or mission. While the current challenges we all continue to face may be seen as a time for hunkering down and waiting it out, the leaders and those committed to the future, know that this is the time to be in action to creating something different – for themselves and for the world. So, if you have been thinking about becoming a Certified Performance Coach and were not able to create that for this year, this is the time to make sure you are there next year!
